The Sit Downs
Recognizing Excellence in Sitting on Stuff
Dogs sit on things. Just a fact.
But some dogs turn it into something more.
A style.
A mood.
An art.
The Sit Downs are awards honoring sitting on stuff as an artistic and musical practice. They recognize canines who raise the form through composition: posture, surface, atmosphere.
Without further ado, I, Socks, announce the winners of the First Biennial Sit Downs, celebrating dogs whose relationship to furniture approaches mastery.
Our first winner, and inspiration for the awards themselves is Finn:(Huck & Finn in Spain)
Best Unintentional Dab in a Live Performance

You deserve an award for all of those creative and descriptive titles you came up with!
After putting on my Sunday best (jeans and hoodie) and grabbing my finest snacks (chips and chocolate covered almonds) I was captured by all of these honourable dogs with their special awards. Thank you for a most wonderful programme. 😊🩷
